Z-Tech (India) Limited has announced that it has been awarded a prestigious project by the Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (BUIDCO) for the design, engineering, and development of Rajendra Prasad Bihar Gaurav Park (Waste to Wonder) in Patna.
The foundation stone for the project was laid by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, in the presence of the Deputy Chief Minister and several senior dignitaries.

The tender for the project was floated by BUIDCO in July with an estimated project capital cost of ₹14.98 crore. Z-Tech emerged as the successful bidder with a contract value of ₹13.91 crore, inclusive of GST. The project will be developed on 10 acres of land located between Dr. Rajendra Prasad’s Samadhi Sthal and the J.P. Ganga Path (Marine Drive) in Patna, and includes operation and maintenance responsibilities for a 20-year period.
The park will showcase replicas of iconic architectural wonders, built using unusable and discarded items such as scrap metal, vehicles, furniture, machinery, plastics, and construction debris. These materials, currently lying unused at various BUIDCO offices and processing sites across the city, will be creatively repurposed into sculptures and installations.
Construction is expected to be completed within 12 months from the award of the contract.
“This is Z-Tech’s first project in Bihar, and it will cater to a large section of the public. We believe it will significantly contribute to our growth trajectory in the state over the coming years,” said Sanghamitra Borgohain, Managing Director of Z-Tech (India) Limited.
The Rajendra Prasad Bihar Gaurav Park is envisioned as a Waste-to-Wonder themed landmark, combining modern design with cultural reverence to create a unique urban attraction for residents and visitors.
