The Technology of the welding simulator must be of augmented Reality. The input Supply has single phase 230 volts. The current range for SMAW must have 50A - 240A (2.5, 3.15 & 4MM ELECTRODE).The voltage & current range – GMAW and FCAW should have 10V – 32V & 25A – 270A (0.8, 1.0, & 1.2 dia wire).The current Range must also for GTAW must be in the range of 25a - 270a (2.0 filler rod). The weight of the simulator must be near 20-30 kg, Sturdy & metal body design must be beautifully presented. The process simulated must not be less than SMAW, GMAW, FCAW and GTAW. The Component simulation possibilities must be actual component simulation & robotic integration possibility. The Physical workpieces must be butt , fillet, lap, pipe to pipe and pipe to plate joints. The Welding position must have 1F to 6F positions in fillet and 1G to 6G positions in groove. The Workshop skill training must have provision to place the workpiece in a fixed stand/locator. The student must learn to weld where the workpiece is not in a fixture.The Thickness of base material must be 3mm, 6mm & 10mm. The Welding practice workpiece to provide minimum 10 inch long weld bead practice. The Torch control - GMAW & GTAW two step and four step controls must be there. The Torches related to GMAW & GTAW must be used as real industrial torches for real feel and weight (any reputable maker like tbi or binzel). No Torch tracking movement on monitor with graphic imaging. The Virtual & actual workpiece, torches and electrode must be real hardware and the simulation must be virtual objects visible though the reality mask. The hardware object must be with its complete accessories. The Welding practice must practice on a physical work piece - minimum 10 inch long weld bead. The SMAW welding practice during SMAW welding practice, physical electrode (hardware) to be used and the same must retract simulating the consumption of electrode. In the Welder view, the welder will be able to see the real workpiece from inside the helmet. The helmet must have a HD flat screen helmet - goggle less vision for user comfort.
