A state-of-the-art bus stand equipped with world-class passenger amenities will soon be constructed in Chhapra at an estimated cost of ₹19.72 crore. The project, approved by District Magistrate Aman Sameer, will be developed by the Zila Parishad, Saran, under the supervision of the Panchayati Raj Department, which has floated the tender for its construction. The facility is expected to significantly improve public transport connectivity in the region.

Spread over 5 acres in Ratanpura mouza of Karinga Panchayat, the bus stand will serve both interstate and intradistrict routes, becoming a vital transport hub in north Bihar. Designed to meet the growing passenger load, the new bus stand will feature modern infrastructure such as passenger waiting lounges, electronic display boards, clean restrooms, and designated parking zones.
