BSTDC Receives Two Bids for Redevelopment of Kusheshwar Asthan

Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation (BSTDC) has received two bids for the redevelopment of Kusheshwar Asthan, a prominent religious site in Darbhanga. The tender for this ₹44.03 crore project was floated on February 21, 2025, through the e-tendering process.

By the bid submission deadline of May 26, 2025, the following two firms submitted their bids:

  1. Saraswati Engineering, Near Aqua Water Park, Saguna Khagaul Road, Danapur, Patna
  2. Rama & Sons, L-3/4, Sri Krishnapuri, Opp. Near Children Park, Boring Road, Patna

The Technical Bid Evaluation Committee reviewed the proposals and found both bidders responsive. The committee has recommended opening the financial bids of both firms for further evaluation.

The project has received administrative approval of ₹44.03 crore and technical sanction of ₹44.00 crore. The BOQ value is estimated at ₹40.92 crore, with a completion timeline of 24 months. The redevelopment aims to boost tourism and improve facilities at this historic and religiously significant site.
