A major infrastructure project is set to take off in Nawada district with the construction of a Road Over Bridge (ROB) near Sadipur Railway Halt. The ROB will be constructed at the railway crossing located on NH-31 at the 97th kilometer mark, extending toward Kadirganj on State Highway-08 (Sakri River stretch).
The estimated cost of the project is ₹142.93 crore, while administrative approval has been granted for ₹181.62 crore. The completion period for the project is set at 24 months.
The last date for submission of tenders was March 17, 2025. The ROB is expected to significantly reduce traffic congestion and enhance connectivity and safety in the region.

Once completed, the ROB is expected to provide a seamless bypass route, particularly easing delays caused by the railway crossing.
