Approximately 300 candidates, along with the organized gangs associated with the Solver Gang Network, have been apprehended. These individuals were slated to appear for the Bihar Teacher Appointment Examination (TRE)-3, orchestrated by BPSC. Following their arrest, they were presented before the Patna Civil Court and subsequently remanded to judicial custody.

BPSC has issued a formal notice acknowledging the cancellation of the third phase (TRE-3.0) examination conducted on March 15, 2024, in response to the damning report from the Economic Offenses Unit (EOU). The investigation revealed that the question paper had fallen into the hands of the organized gang prior to the examination, prompting the filing of an FIR by the EOU on March 16 under relevant sections.

A scheduled movement concerning the paper leak was anticipated. Student organizations had voiced their intent to protest near the BPSC office on March 21.
