The Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation Ltd. (BSTDCL) has officially awarded the contract for constructing a budget hotel in Sasaram, Rohtas district, to M/s P S Infrastructures. The total contract value is ₹28.26 crore.

A budget hotel is being constructed at Sasaram with an administrative approval of ₹29.82 crore. The contract for the project has been awarded at a cost of ₹28.26 crore. The execution period for completing the construction work is 18 months.

Technical Bid Evaluation
The move comes after a technical bid evaluation meeting was held on April 30, 2025, under the chairmanship of the Chief Engineer, BSTDCL.

M/s PSI & SKP (JV), West Boring Canal Road, Patna
Arbind Kumar Realcon Private Limited, RMS Colony, Kankarbagh, Patna
The Executive Engineer presented a comparative statement of documents submitted by the two bidders. Upon review, the committee found both firms’ bids to be technically responsive. The evaluation was based on the scrutiny of uploaded documents as per the tender requirements.
Final Decision
As per the financial bid evaluation, M/s P S Infrastructures emerged as the lowest bidder with a quoted amount of ₹28.26 crore, and the contract has now been formally awarded to them.
The project aims to enhance tourism facilities in Sasaram, a historically significant city known as the birthplace of Sher Shah Suri. The hotel will cater to budget travelers and pilgrims, contributing to tourism-led economic development in the Rohtas.
