BIADA clears proposals for 9 industrial units, allocates 15.31 acres across Bihar

The Project Clearance Committee (PCC) of the Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA), chaired by Shri Kundan Kumar, IAS, Managing Director, BIADA, has approved the allocation of industrial plots and sheds to eligible applicants and industries in the state.

During the meeting, the committee allotted land to nine industrial units across different industrial areas in Patna, Buxar, Bhojpur, Muzaffarpur, Begusarai, and Purnea. In total, 15.31 acres of land has been allocated for industrial use.

These units belong to a diverse mix of sectors including food processing, IT & ITeS, and general manufacturing, highlighting the government’s focus on balanced industrial development across multiple domains.

According to BIADA, the approved projects are expected to attract a cumulative investment of ₹145.11 crore and generate around 486 employment opportunities, thereby boosting the local economy and creating job prospects for youth in the state.

M/s Ishika Paper & Packaging Pvt. Ltd
M/s Kempty Beverages Pvt. Ltd

Officials said that the decision reflects the state’s proactive approach to industrial facilitation, ensuring that land is allotted in a transparent and timely manner to deserving enterprises.
