RailTel Secures ₹209.78 Cr Order from Bihar Education Project Council

RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. has announced that it has received a major order from the Bihar Education Project Council (BEPC) for the implementation of education quality enhancement initiatives under the PM SHRI scheme.

In a regulatory filing, the company stated that the Letter of Acceptance (LoA) was received on September 12, 2025, at 6:02 PM. The estimated value of the order is ₹209.78cr, making it a significant win for the company’s education solutions vertical.

The scope of work includes the supply of services and solutions aimed at improving the quality of education in Bihar’s government schools. The project is scheduled to be executed by September 11, 2026.

RailTel clarified that the contract has been awarded by a domestic entity and does not fall under related party transactions.
