The Bihar State Building Construction Corporation Limited has completed the tender process and finalized contractors for two key sports infrastructure projects in Jamui district, together worth around ₹45.50 crore.
Kumar Surendra Singh Stadium Renovation, Gidhaur – ₹15.36 Crore
The Department of Sports granted administrative approval of ₹16.65 crore on February 22, 2025, for the construction and renovation of Kumar Surendra Singh Stadium in Gidhaur. The estimated cost of the work was ₹15.36 crore. The e-tender notice was issued and published in leading dailies on March 12, 2025.

Three firms participated: M/s Ali Construction, Gen X Infra Homes Pvt. Ltd., and SKG Infratech Pvt. Ltd. After technical evaluation, the first two were found responsive, while SKG Infratech was declared non-responsive. With no objections received by July 22, the financial bids were opened. Gen X Infra Homes Pvt. Ltd. quoted ₹15.12 crore, lower than the estimated cost, and was recommended for award.
Sports Complex Construction, Sonpe – ₹30.13 Crore
For the Sports Complex in Sonpe, the Sports Department approved ₹32.59 crore on February 25, 2025. The estimated cost was ₹30.13 crore. The tender was issued through e-procurement and published on March 12, 2025.

Four bidders participated: M/s Vaishno Enterprises, Gen X Infra Homes Pvt. Ltd., Maa Vaishnavi Infrazone, and SKG Infratech Pvt. Ltd. In technical evaluation, the first three qualified, while SKG Infratech was disqualified. When financial bids were opened, Maa Vaishnavi Infrazone quoted ₹29.73 crore, under the estimated cost, and was recommended for award.
With these contracts nearing final approval, Jamui district is set to receive a combined sports infrastructure investment of over ₹45 crore, promising modern training and playing facilities for local athletes.
