The Building Construction Department (BCD) of Bihar has floated fresh tenders for the construction of 620-capacity Atal Kala Bhawan auditoriums in three districts: Buxar, Arwal, and Siwan. Each of these cultural centers will be developed at a cost of ₹19.73 crore, with a scheduled completion time of 12 months.

The project in Buxar involves the construction of an auditorium with full electrification works. The tender opening date for this project is August 20, 2025.

In Arwal district, the Atal Kala Bhawan will also have a seating capacity of 620 and include electrification works. The technical bid for this project is scheduled to be opened on August 19, 2025, at 3:00 PM.

For Siwan, the construction tender for the auditorium has also been announced. The technical bid opening will be held on August 23, 2025, at 3:00 PM through the official website.

These new projects come after the BCD had earlier invited bids in July for similar auditorium constructions in Nawada, Sheikhpura, and Kaimur (Bhabhua), each with the same estimated cost of ₹19.73 crore and a seating capacity of 620.

The Atal Kala Bhawan initiative is part of the state’s effort to promote cultural infrastructure and provide modern performance spaces in various districts.
