Adyaraj Developers To Build 560-seat Minority School In East Champaran

A new 560-capacity Minority Residential School will be constructed in Sugauli block of East Champaran district. The project, located in Mansingha Mauza, is part of the Bihar State Minority Residential School Scheme and has been sanctioned with a revised administrative cost of ₹59.71 crore.

Tender process and publication

The e-tender was issued through Bihar’s e-procurement platform and advertised in prominent newspapers, including Prabhat Khabar and Dainik Jagran, on March 6, 2025. Bids were invited between March 18 and April 20, with a submission deadline of April 21, 2025.

Bidding companies and technical evaluation

Five construction firms submitted their bids:

  1. Chevrox Constructions Pvt. Ltd., Ahmedabad
  2. Adyaraj Developers Pvt. Ltd., Patna
  3. Surendra Prasad & Co., Nawada
  4. Rama & Sons, Patna
  5. Arvind Kumar, Patna

The financial bids were opened on May 27. The comparative rates quoted were:

  • Adyaraj Developers: ₹50.44 crore (11% below estimated cost)
  • Chevrox Constructions: ₹50.70 crore
  • Rama & Sons: ₹53.76 crore

Adyaraj Developers Pvt. Ltd. offered the lowest bid at ₹50.44 crore against the estimated ₹56.67 crore and was declared the lowest successful bidder (L1).

Committee recommendation and conclusion

After reviewing the bids, the technical evaluation committee unanimously recommended awarding the project to Adyaraj Developers Pvt. Ltd., citing both technical qualification and competitive pricing.
