2 Bidders Technically Qualified for Patna Haat

A technical evaluation committee meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Chief Engineer of Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation Ltd. (BSTDC), Patna, to review bids received for the construction of Patna Haat near Gandhi Maidan in Patna district.

The estimated cost of the project stands at ₹48.96 crore, with administrative approval for ₹47.73 crore granted on May 13, 2025. The detailed estimate amounts to ₹44.41 crore, and the project is expected to be completed in 24 months. The last date for receiving bids was May 30, 2025.

Two bids were received:

  1. M/S Kumar Heights Private Limited, Fraser Road, Patna
  2. M/S Kalsi Buildcon Pvt. Ltd., Hinoo, Ranchi, Jharkhand

The Executive Engineer submitted a comparative statement and supporting documents for evaluation. The technical evaluation committee reviewed the bids and found both bidders responsive based on their submitted documents. However, the committee noted that if any experience certificate submitted by the bidders is later found to be forged or invalid, action will be taken under the Bihar Contractor Registration Rules, 2007.

After careful examination, both M/S Kumar Heights and M/S Kalsi Buildcon were found technically qualified. The committee unanimously recommended opening their financial bids.
